Shelly Poole was born in 1968 and started playing guitar and singing early on. In the mid-1990s, she formed the trio Alisha's Attic with Karen Poole and Sarah Cracknell. Their debut album 'Alisha Rules the World' reached the top of the UK charts, but the band broke up in 2001.
Poole began her solo career in 2002 with the album 'Hardcore.' She released several more albums including 'Lost in You' in 2015. The song 'Lost In You' became one of her most recognized tracks.
In 2007, she spoke publicly about dealing with depression and anxiety. She has worked with various musicians including producer Dr. Robert and guitarist Peter-John Vettese.
