Shelter is a Swedish electronic duo made up of Pontus Winnberg and Andreas Tilliander. They started working together in 2012 after meeting at a music conference, and put out their first EP, 'Beam Me Up,' that same year. The title track from that release got some attention and helped introduce their sound.
Their music includes songs like 'Here We Go,' 'Mantra,' and 'Beyond Planet Earth.' They released albums called 'Chasing Shadows' in 2014, 'Elliott' in 2018, and 'Continuum' in 2022. Winnberg has spoken about dealing with anxiety and depression, which affected his work around 2016.
Some critics early on questioned whether their sound was too derivative. They kept making music anyway, and it's been used in some films and TV shows. Their catalog has a range from that first EP to more recent tracks like 'Empathy' and 'After Forever.'
