Sheluck

Sheluck is a German band that formed in the early 2000s around singer and songwriter Max Schuller. Their music pulls from electronic, classical, and folk elements, which made them a bit hard to pin down at first. They built up a following through smaller live shows before things clicked with a wider audience.

In 2005, they released "Passado," a song that became their calling card. Its atmospheric sound and introspective lyrics found a home on alternative radio and with listeners who were drawn to something a little different. The track sparked some debate about what constituted creative expression, but it clearly connected.

After "Passado," Sheluck put out albums like "The Swarm" in 2007, "The Ritual" in 2010, and "The Observatory" in 2015. Their work continued to explore that layered, textured space they had carved out.
