Shonlock is a rock band that formed in London in the late 1980s. They took their name from Sherlock Holmes, and their early lineup included vocalist and guitarist Alex 'Lex' Jones, lead guitarist Sam 'Shredder' Carter, bassist Brad 'Boom' Thompson, and drummer Mike 'Thud' Evans.

Their debut album 'Lock and Load' came out in 1991, with the title track becoming a hit. Songs like 'I Like To Win' and 'We Walk On Water' are among their notable tracks.
