Shorty Yuen formed in 2000 as a trio from Hong Kong, with Sean Yuen on vocals and guitar, Tom Law on drums, and Gary Yeung on bass. Their debut album came out in 2003, and it included 'Half Love Song,' which became a hit about unrequited love. They followed that with albums like '24 Hours' in 2005 and 'My Story' in 2008.
Law and Yeung left the band in 2007, and Yuen continued as a solo artist. In 2017, he announced that Shorty Yuen would reform with a new lineup. Some of their other songs include 'I Love Him 99 Times.'
