Shout Out Louds formed in Stockholm in 2001. Their debut album 'Howl Howl Gaff Gaff' came out in 2003 and got them some attention outside Sweden. The band includes Adam Olenius on vocals and guitar, Ted Malmros on keyboards, Bebban Stenborg on bass, Eric Edman on drums, and Carl von Arbin on guitar.
They followed up with 'Our Ill Wills' in 2007, which had a darker feel than their earlier work. In 2010 they made 'Work' with producer Björn Yttling, then put out 'Optica' in 2013 and 'Ease My Mind' in 2017. Songs like 'Tonight I have to leave it' and '100 Degrees' show their mix of indie rock with melodic, sometimes dreamy arrangements.
Their music tends toward introspective lyrics wrapped in accessible melodies. They've kept at it for over two decades without chasing trends, just putting out records when they have something to say.
