Sicatriz formed in São Paulo in 1981 with Marcelino on vocals, André Jung on drums, Tito on bass, and Ari on guitar. They played in underground clubs during Brazil's punk scene of the 1980s.
Their debut album 'Descanso Eterno' came out in 1985 and included the song 'Bombinha,' which became an anthem for Brazilian youth at the time. The band released three more albums: 'Luz Elétrica' in 1986, 'Sobre Vida e Morte' in 1987, and 'Na Lama' in 1991.
