Their debut album came out in 1992, and they had a hit with "Chuva de Água Benta" in 1994. The band's music mixed romantic ballads with pop and regional Brazilian sounds.
In the late 1990s, some listeners questioned the religious themes in their songs, but the group kept recording. They put out albums like "Ao Vivo em Campo Grande" in 1996 and "O Milagre da Vida" in 2000. Other songs from their catalog include "Ela Tá Ligada," "O Que Aprendi," and "Sagrada Ideologia."
Bassist Moacir Franco and drummer Jhonny Martins also played with the band at different points. Their music found an audience beyond their home region, though they never became a mainstream national act.
