Archive material and source history
Silent Force formed in 2001 from the remains of the band Crossfire. The original lineup included Alex Scholpp on vocals, Alex Beyrodt and Michael Voss on guitars, and Thomen Stauch on drums. They released their debut album 'Infatuator' in 2004, which featured the track 'All Guns Blazing'.
The band has seen several lineup changes over time. Beyrodt left in 2006 to work on solo material, and Voss departed two years later. Their 2013 album 'Rising From Ashes' drew some criticism from listeners who felt the group had moved away from their earlier melodic approach.
Silent Force has put out seven studio albums, including 'Infatuator' and 'The Empire of F'.
