Silent Rage formed in 1982 with Mark Reale on guitar, Joey Vera on bass, Brian James on drums, and Jesse Damon handling vocals. They played melodic heavy metal and released their self-titled debut album in 1984. The song 'Runnin' On Love' became their most recognizable track.
Damon left in 1984 and was replaced by Steve Sosa, who sang on the 1986 album 'Crucified.' The band put out several more records through the late '80s and early '90s, including 'Judgement Day' and 'Still Alive.' Other songs like 'Don't Touch Me There' and 'Tonight You're Mine' appeared on those albums.
After a hiatus, Silent Rage reunited in 2001. Mark Reale died the following year, but the band continued performing afterward.
