Silent Rival formed in Detroit in the late 2000s with Matt Hartke on vocals and guitar. Their debut album 'Mercy' came out in 2009, followed by 'Black Out' in 2011 and 'The Rising Tide' in 2013. That third album included the track 'Die A Little'.
They put out 'Caught in the Crossfire' in 2016 and 'Resonate' in 2020. The band's lineup included Dan Ellis on drums, Ryan Hurley on bass, and Shawn Klein on lead guitar.
