Simian is a British electronic duo formed in 2002 by James Ford and Simon Lord. Their debut album 'Chemistry Is What We Are' came out in 2004 and included the track 'Never Be Alone.' In 2006, they faced a copyright lawsuit over that song, which was settled with payments to Visage.
Their 2008 album 'We Are Your Friends' had 'Big Black Gun,' which became one of their better-known tracks. Later albums like their self-titled 2011 release and 'Chaos and Harmony' from 2015 showed them moving toward more ambient and experimental territory.
Their catalog includes songs like 'Chamber,' 'Drop And Roll,' and 'Helpless.' They put out 'Simian x Acid' in 2019.
