The Mexican-Argentine duo built a catalog of melodic pop songs about love and connection.
For their sound, start with 'Entra en Mi Vida.' If you want one that holds up, try 'Mientes Tan Bien.'
When Leonel García and Noel Schajris started working together in 2000, they landed on a sound that clicked across Latin America. Their debut single 'Entra en Mi Vida' from 2002 set the template, García's vocals over Schajris's piano, writing about relationships without much fuss. Songs like 'Si Tu No Estas Aqui' and 'Mientes Tan Bien' kept that approach going even after they took a break.
They formed in 2000 and released their self-titled debut in 2002. García left in 2007 to go solo, and Schajris worked on his own for several years before they reunited in 2015. The following year they put out 'Una Ultima Vez.'
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
