Sinitta was a pop singer who had some hits in the late 1980s, most notably 'Cross My Broken Heart' and 'So Macho.' She was born in Seattle but moved to London as a teenager and signed with Simon Cowell's Fanfare Records in 1984.
Her self-titled debut album came out in 1987 and included songs like 'Toy Boy' alongside the bigger singles. She released a few more albums in the 1990s, including 'Wicked' in 1992, and put out a compilation called 'Sinitta at Her Best' in 2006.
Some of her other songs that people remember are 'G.T.O.' and 'Right Back Where We Started From.'
