Archive material and source history
Sirlane Brito is a Brazilian gospel singer from Governador Valadares. She started singing in churches around the early 2000s, and by 2004 she had signed with Universal Music Group and put out her first album, 'Consagração.' Songs like 'Igreja Ungida' and 'Deus é' became familiar in Brazilian worship circles.
Her recordings often feature a band with musicians like keyboardist Moisés Cleyton, drummer Rogério Silva, and guitarist Rafael Brito. She's released several albums since that debut, including 'Ungida' in 2007, 'Promessas' in 2010, and 'Deus no Controle' in 2016.
In 2010 there was some legal trouble over a song copyright, but she kept recording. A live album came out in 2019. Her music stays within the gospel tradition, with straightforward worship songs like 'Eu Sou Jesus' and 'Reis dos Reis.'
