Siroco

Siroco started in Seville in the early 2000s with Manuel Fernández, Antonio Romero, and Andrés Cárdenas. They mixed flamenco rhythms from their region with pop and rock, which gave their music a local feel without leaning too hard on tradition.

Their 2004 debut album 'Aire' included the song 'Los Don Nadie,' which became a hit in Spain. The track's blend of flamenco and contemporary pop caught on, though it's the straightforward melody and relatable lyrics that people remember more than any grand innovation.

Around 2006, Siroco faced some pushback over the lyrics to 'El Perro,' which touched on immigration issues. Their albums, like 'La Calle del Viento' and 'Lunas,' continued in a similar vein, sticking to the sound they'd established early on.
