A Florida five-piece whose acoustic rock and harmonies found a home on radio in the '90s and beyond.
For their radio hit, start with "All for You." Their later stuff, like "Champagne High," holds up the harmonies.
They broke through with "All for You," a single that got heavy radio play in 1994 and defined their sound. Songs like "This Kind Of Love" and "Champagne High" show their blend of acoustic rock and vocal harmonies, which kept them recording through the 2000s. They took their name from the "Sister Hazel" mentioned in the Allman Brothers Band song "Jessica," a nod to their roots.
Sister Hazel formed in Gainesville, Florida, with five friends playing small bar gigs. Guitarist Jeff Beres left in 1997, and the band kept recording with albums like "Fortress" and "Chasing Daylight," returning in 2014 after a five-year gap.
