I dont remember all your friends

Or if we even met at all

But I remember freaking out

Watching you walk your first wall

With your head down and headphones on

Storm clouds tightly tying down

To your backpack like balloons

That flooded all the first floor rooms

Inside your house and in your head

The monsters mating in your bed

Ran downthestairs and at out the door

The lightning scaring them once more

I dont remember how we danced

Or if we thought dancing was fun

But I remember how you tried

The muscles shaking in your throat

Creating all the pretty notes

That hung like pollen in the air

Getting trapped in my clothes and hair
