Smart and lean.

She was beautiful,

And hella' wonderful.

And they told her,

So, she went home,

And whimpered through the night.

This is another sappy story of a girl who cries in bed.

This is another sappy story From a guy who gets no head.

But all you really need to know, is to not be so uptight.

And all you really need to know, is that things will be all right.

So, they tell you,

What they think of you.

And they tell you,

What you don't want them to.

And you let them,

Get inside your head.

All you seem notice,

Is every single word they've said.

Whatever you do,

Don't let them get to you.

Once they're in your head,

You'd be better off dead.

You have worked so hard,

And you've made it this far.

But, whatever you do,

Don't let them get to you.

Well, you think it should be easier,

Than this to get through life.

But it seems to get more difficult,

As the time keeps passin' by.

So, when everyone in life, starts to put you down.

Well don't listen to them, and never wear a frown.

If they tell you, you're not good enough.

Well don't go cry in bed.
