Archive material and source history
Sixth Day formed in 2003 with Guilherme do Valle on vocals and guitar, Guilherme Dias on bass, and Ícaro Reis on drums. Their debut album came out in 2006, anchored by the ballad "Tudo que eu sempre quis," which found an audience in Brazil.
Reis left the band in 2008, replaced by drummer Pedro Pelotas. Their 2010 album drew some criticism for moving away from their earlier alternative rock sound, but they kept working, putting out records in 2014 and 2018.
