Skyblood formed in Stockholm in the late 1980s, with founding members Erik "Wolff" Anderson on vocals and Lars "Thor" Svensson on guitar. They were joined by bassist Johan "Viper" Johansson and drummer Per "Grim" Karlsson. Their debut album "The Call of the Wild" came out in 1991.
In 1993, they released the song "The Not Forgotten," which became one of their most recognized tracks.
Skyblood has put out seven studio albums between 1991 and 2012. The current lineup still includes the original four members: Wolff, Thor, Viper, and Grim.
