Archive material and source history
Skybombers formed in New York City in the early 2000s, with Tommy Gallagher on guitar and vocals and Jake Harrison on bass. They put out an EP called 'Electric Shock' in 2002, which got some attention. The next year they released their first full album, 'Out of the Shadows.'
They had a song called 'It Goes Off' that became a staple for them. Their drummer was Billy Rodriguez. In 2006, Rodriguez was arrested on drug charges, which caused the band to take a break for a while.
They came back with an album in 2007 called 'Rise from the Ashes.' That record had some lyrics that stirred up debate at the time, with some people calling it too aggressive. They kept putting out music into the 2010s, including another album in 2010.
