They started putting out albums like 'The Wayward Sons of Mother Earth' in 1991 and 'A Burnt Offering for the Bone Idol' the following year.
Their sound mixed heavy metal with folk elements, and Walkyier's lyrics often touched on mythology and history. Songs like 'Another Drinking Song' and 'Think Back And Lie Of England' show their range from drinking anthems to more pointed commentary.
They've released about thirteen studio albums, including 'The Prince of the Poverty Line' in 1996 and 'Another Drinking Song' in 2006.
