Sleeperstar formed in Leeds in 1995 with Chris Martin on vocals and guitar, Steve Wickham on guitar, and Ben Taylor on bass. They released their self-titled debut album in 1997, followed by 'This Time' in 1999. The band's run lasted until 2003, when they disbanded.
Their song 'I Was Wrong' became a notable track for them, appearing on 'This Time'. Other songs like 'We Go Tonight (Say It Again)', 'Details', and 'Everything Must Find Its Place' round out their catalog.
They put out two more albums, 'The Years' in 2001 and 'Last Call' in 2003. David Palmer played drums for the group.
