Sleeptalk

Sleeptalk is an electropop duo formed by Elyse Weinberg and Ryan Breen around 2008. They met at a record label showcase and started making music together with a focus on melancholic melodies. Their sound developed into something ethereal and introspective, built around Weinberg's vocals and Breen's production.

Their first album 'Sunlit Days' came out in 2011, followed by 'Everything Else' in 2015. The single 'Strange Nights' from that second album became their breakout track, capturing their atmospheric approach to electronic music. The duo's work tends toward dreamy synths and evocative storytelling rather than straightforward pop structures.

Weinberg's voice gives their music its emotional center, while Breen creates the textured electronic backdrops. Together they've built a sound that feels both intimate and expansive, with songs that unfold slowly rather than rushing to a chorus.
