The group debuted with the song "Bad Girl" and found wider recognition later that year with "Pretty Pretty." In 2014, two members, RiSe and EunB, died in a car accident. The remaining members, Ashley, Sojung, and Zuny, continued as a trio, releasing music again in 2016.

As part of Ladies' Code, Sojung has contributed to songs like "Perfume" and "Crystal Clear." The group's later work, including tracks such as "Set Me Free" from 2019, shifted toward a more introspective sound. They moved to a new label in 2018.
