Archive material and source history
Solani - Comunidade Católica Transfiguração started as a Catholic youth group from the Transfiguration Parish in Solani, Brazil. A few young musicians formed the band in the early 1990s, wanting to use music to share their faith.
They've put out several albums, including 'Solani' in 2003 and 'O Coração de Jesus' in 2006. The title track from that 2006 record became a popular devotional song. Other releases like 'Com Você' and 'O Amor de Deus' followed in 2010 and 2014.
Some of the people who've played in the group include Rafael Borges on vocals, Amanda Lorenz also singing, and Daniel Clemente on guitar. The lineup has changed at times, but they've kept making music for their local Catholic community.
