The group included Solano on vocals and guitar, Jorge Lamenha on bass, João do Pife on flute and saxophone, Zé Pretinho on tambourine and percussion, and Osvaldo on snare drum. Their music combined dance rhythms with social commentary, creating songs that resonated with working-class audiences.
