Solar Scream

Solar Scream formed in London around 2006, with Lily Raven on vocals, Ethan Black on guitar, James Thorne on bass, and Jack Frost on drums. Their music pulls from grunge and shoegaze, with a sound that nods to bands like Nirvana and My Bloody Valentine. They put out their first album, 'Echoes of the Void', in 2009, followed by 'Ashes to Ashes' in 2013.

A lot of people know them for the song 'Dead Like Stones', which came out on an EP of the same name in 2015. That track, along with others like 'Escape Design' and 'Heart Carved Into Mine', has a heavy, atmospheric feel that fits with the alternative rock scene they came up in.
