Sondia

Sondia formed in Los Angeles around 2007 as a trio with vocalist Laurel Sprengelmeyer, guitarist Adam Fuss, and bassist Scott Sutherland. Their music often dealt with the transition into adulthood, a theme that came through clearly in songs like "Adult" and "My Song." The band's self-titled debut album established their sound with introspective lyrics and delicate arrangements.

They followed that with albums called "Eden" and "Northern Lights," which continued exploring similar emotional territory. At one point, Sprengelmeyer faced vocal cord issues that interrupted their work, but the group kept going. Their catalog includes tracks like "First Love" and "Our Souls At Night," which maintain that consistent, thoughtful tone.
