Sonn

Sonn is the project of Berlin-based producer and DJ Julian Stetter, who started working under that name around 2015. The music draws from ambient and techno influences, though it doesn't settle neatly into either category.

In 2018, Sonn released an EP called 'Echoes' that got some attention. The following year, 'Lights Out' came out with vocals from Ayelle. That track found a wider audience than the earlier work, with its bassline and melody connecting with listeners in a way that felt more immediate.

Stetter has kept the project going since then, though the catalog remains relatively compact. The sound still has that atmospheric quality, even on the more structured tracks.
