Sonohra is an Italian pop duo formed by brothers Luca and Diego Fainello from Verona. They started playing music as teenagers, with Luca on guitar and vocals and Diego on drums. Their 2008 single "L'amore" became a breakout hit in Italy, leading to their debut album "Sweet Home" the following year.
In 2011, Luca was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, which forced the band to pause while he underwent treatment. They returned with their second album "Metà" in 2012, which showed a more introspective direction. Other songs like "Se Tu Te Ne Vai" and "Io E Te" continued their focus on melodic pop with acoustic elements.
They've released several albums since, including "Il viaggio" in 2014 and "La storia parte da qui" in 2020. Their music typically works with straightforward themes of love and personal experience over pop-rock arrangements.
