The original lineup included Tony Esposito on percussion, Alfredo Sorrentino on vocals and guitar, Pino Daniele on guitar, and Joe Amoruso on bass. They released their self-titled debut album that same year.
Their 1984 album 'Vesuvio' became a breakthrough, its title track capturing something of the city's restless energy. The band's sound was built from that tension between local tradition and broader rock currents, though it wasn't always an easy fit for purists on either side.
Over time, the membership shifted, but they kept recording. Their catalog includes albums like 'Aspettando Godot' from 1979 and more than twenty releases in total. The music stayed rooted in Naples, even as it reached listeners well beyond the city.
