The Spin Doctors formed in New York City in the early 1990s with Chris Barron on vocals and guitar, Eric Schenkman on guitar, Mark White on bass, and Aaron Comess on drums. Their self-titled debut album came out in 1991 and included the hit 'Two Princes,' which became their most recognizable song. Another track from that period, 'Little Miss Can't Be Wrong,' also got plenty of radio play.
After their initial success, the band put out albums like 'Turn It Upside Down' in 1994 and 'You've Got to Believe in Something' in 1996. Their lineup shifted over time, with Comess leaving in 1999 and Barron departing for a stretch before returning in 2011. Schenkman and White have been consistent presences through those changes.
