In the garden of life, there was loneliness

And the gods made a plan for their land

Creating a servant, a man-child - a new race down on earth

But the blood of a God was the missing link

To mix it with loam and with bones

One of them had to die a brother they must kill

For the one who caused the slaughter

Made a God kill other gods

Is the one who is lying in chains before our feet

From his blood we will create them

Make them serve and work the land

They will live under command to bear the load

From the flesh and soul a God they lived

I bound forever, related by blood

And a home for their dreams was the first aim, babylon was born

The creators stood proud and then watched their breed

The beauty that grew down on earth

But things got out of hand, a tragedy began

Even masters and redeemers

Are never free from sin

And the creatures on earth fell in love with the ancient ones

So the world remained in chaos

And they gathered once again

To wash away the sins once and for all… once and for all

And the water came pouring from the skies that opened wide

Every life on earth sank down in the flood sent by the gods

But an ember's fire was left

To sow the seed of life again

Dwelling in the ark, one was left in shelter from the rain

Enki saved his life against the council of the elders

Utnapischtim rise, you shall live beyond the flood… forevermore

From the flesh and the soul of a God they live

Bound forever, related by blood

Now free from the chains they once bound

The dawning of mankind

The creators are proud and they watch their breed

The beauty that grows down on earth
