Their 1999 album 'Combing the Peel' included the track 'We Want the Airwaves,' which got some attention. Before that, they'd put out 'Forklift' in 1996, and after came albums like 'Girls Can Tell' and 'The Way We Were.'
Daniel has spoken about dealing with depression, and the band's lyrics sometimes leaned toward the downbeat or ambiguous. Their lineup shifted at times, with Eric Harvey on bass and Gordy Gano on drums at various points. They kept making records into the 2000s, with 'Agnostic Hymns & Stoner Fables' arriving in 2006.
