Sport Ivory formed in Los Angeles in the early 1990s. Their debut album 'Lost in Time' came out in 1992, and its single 'Try to Remember' got some radio play. They put out a few more records over the next decade, including 'Echoes from the Past' in 1994 and 'Whispers of Desire' in 1997.
Vocalist Ivy Rose was the constant member through various lineup shifts. Guitarist Jack Frost and bassist Ethan Stone left at some point, and the band brought in new players like Willow Hayes on guitar and River Stone on bass. They released 'The Phoenix Rising' in 2005, which some critics liked.
