Star Cast formed in Los Angeles in the early 2000s with Noah Lennox on vocals and guitar, Ethan Galindo on bass, and Lucas Arrieta on drums. They worked out their material in local rehearsal spaces and at open mics before releasing their debut album, 'Bleed Your Heart Out,' in 2006.
That album included 'American Funeral,' a track that drew attention for its direct social commentary. The song became a focal point for the band, though their catalog includes other tracks like 'So Sick' with Luke James and 'All I Want' featuring Brittany O'Grady and Evan Ross.
They followed up with several more albums, including 'The Plague Within' in 2009, 'Empires Fall' in 2012, and 'The Death of Hope' in 2016. Their live shows developed a reputation for intensity, which helped them build a following over those years.
