Star Seed

Star Seed is a group that formed around four musicians: Chris Stevens on vocals and guitar, Rob Squires on bass and keyboards, Josh Davidson on drums, and cellist Meggie York. Their sound tends toward the atmospheric, with York's cello adding a distinct texture to the arrangements.

Their debut album was called "Celestial Symphony," and they followed it with records like "Stardust Echoes" and "Stargazer." One of their better-known tracks is "All I'd Ever Need," which features York's vocals alongside the usual instrumentation.

They've also released songs like "Digital Forest" and "In Too Deep," the latter featuring Alex Angelo. The music doesn't fit neatly into one genre, which drew some early criticism from listeners who preferred more traditional categories.
