They took their name from the Italian word for 'regulation,' a wry nod to the constraints they felt as young musicians. Their debut album, 'La Statua di Lenin,' came out in 1988.
In 1992, the song 'Bada Bambina' became their biggest hit, connecting with a wide audience in Italy. Other tracks like 'Facci Un Goal' and 'Bella Come Sei' also became part of their set.
Giammarinaro has been the only constant member through various lineup changes. They released albums including 'La Forza dei Miei Anni' in 1994 and 'In questa vita' in 2000. Their music often touched on themes of everyday life and social issues, maintaining a following in Turin and beyond.
