Stavento formed in 2003 around Michalis Kouinelis and Vasilis Deligiannis. Kouinelis handled vocals and lyrics while Deligiannis took care of music and production. They released their first album 'Mia Agapi' in 2005, followed by 'Mono Mia Agapi' in 2007.
Their 2015 single 'Gia Sena' featuring Ivi Adamou became one of their most recognizable tracks, though it also brought plagiarism allegations that were eventually dismissed. The band continued releasing albums through 2022's 'Tha Zeisou', with Eleftheria Eleftheriou joining as a vocalist from 2015 to 2019.
