Stavros & Konstantina

Stavros & Konstantina are a Greek folk duo known for their heartfelt vocals and bouzouki playing. Their song "I Agapi Akoma Zei" (Love Still Lives) became particularly well-known after its release in 1991, resonating with listeners who appreciated its themes of love and longing.

Stavros Niarchos, from Athens, plays bouzouki and sings, while Konstantina Sarantinou, from Crete, provides the vocal counterpart. Their music draws from traditional Greek folk styles but faced some early criticism for what some considered a commercial approach. They kept working regardless, releasing albums like "Sinechia" in 1993 and "Axiomatismos" in 2000.

Their recordings often feature collaborations with other musicians, including guitarist and producer Dimitrios Papadopoulos and keyboardist Stathis Kraounakis.
