Stereofolk

Stereofolk formed in Barcelona around 2007, with Rebecca Lovell on vocals and guitar, Miquel Gil on guitar, and Iván González on bass. They started playing a mix of traditional folk and electronic elements, which gave them a distinct sound from the beginning. Their first album came out in 2010, simply called 'Stereofolk,' and it laid out that blend clearly.

They followed up with 'Aether' in 2014, which had a more introspective feel, and then 'Visions' in 2017, where they experimented with world music and ambient textures. Their 2020 album 'Come On' included the single 'Come On,' which became one of their more popular tracks. Other songs like 'Feel You Again' and 'Goodbye' also show up in their setlists.

There isn't much drama or grand narrative in their story. They've just kept making music that pulls from folk traditions while adding electronic touches, releasing albums every few years without much fanfare. It's a steady, low-key career built on that specific blend of sounds.
