Stiff Dylans formed in Los Angeles in the late 1980s around frontman Matt Mahaffey, with bassist Richard Wright and drummer John Kastner. They put out their self-titled debut in 1992, followed by the 1995 album 'Ultraviolet' which gave them their most recognizable song. That track, along with others like 'Big Fan' and 'She's Got You High,' became staples for the band.
They released 'Blood on the Tracks' in 1997 and 'Eros' in 1999, rounding out a steady run of albums before 'Remember to Forget' came out in 2001.
