STREAKS formed in Barcelona in 2015 with Aina Casanovas on vocals, Arnau Segarra on guitar, Roger Arnau on bass, and Pau García on drums. They put out their first EP, 'Dimonis,' in 2018, which included the title track and songs like 'Fill de Satanàs' and 'Una Nit de Divendres.'
That 'Dimonis' EP gave them some early attention, and they followed it with the albums 'La llum' in 2019 and 'Fosquejar' in 2021. Their songs often have a kind of indie pop feel with Casanovas's vocals floating over the arrangements.
They ran into a legal issue around 2017 concerning their original name, 'Last Days of Eden,' which led to the change to STREAKS.
