Street Cats formed in São Paulo around 2012, when vocalist Carolina Dall'Olio and guitarist Otávio Farah started playing together. They were joined by bassist Roberta de Salé and drummer Adriano Dória. Their debut album, 'A Última História De Nossas Vidas,' came out in 2016 and gave the band its first real attention.
That album's title track became a hit for them, a ballad about relationships that people kept coming back to. They followed it with 'Amanhã Talvez Seja Tarde' in 2018 and 'O Tempo Passa e a Gente Não Volta' in 2021. Dall'Olio's lyrics sometimes touched on social issues, which drew both listeners and some criticism.
Their songs like 'A.S.A.W' and 'Azar' show the band's range from energetic performances to more soulful writing. They built a following in Brazil with a sound that didn't stay in one genre.
