Stubborn formed in Belo Horizonte in 2001 with Gabriel Camarano on vocals, Gustavo Duarte on guitar, Alexandre Almeida on bass, and Ricardo Dias on drums. Their debut album 'A Vida Em Forma de Música' came out in 2003, followed by 'Até o Fim' in 2006 and 'Manual de Instruções' in 2009. The band's early sound leaned toward melodic rock, with songs like 'Tudo o Que Eu Odeio Em Você' becoming one of their most recognizable tracks.
Camarano left the band in 2012, and Bruno Alexandre took over as vocalist. Guitarist Duarte departed in 2018, replaced by Lucas Di Giorgio, and drummer Dias left in 2022, leaving Almeida as the only original member still in the lineup. Through these changes, Stubborn kept recording and touring, putting out albums like '10 Anos Depois' in 2015.
Their music includes songs such as 'As Estrelas,' 'Garota Sinistra,' and 'Tenho Que Esquecer,' which have maintained a following in Brazilian rock circles. The band's persistence through lineup shifts and different phases has been a consistent part of their story since those early days in Belo Horizonte.
