Stuck In The Sound formed in Beaune, France in 2001 with Joseph Doherty on vocals and guitar, Emmanuel Barichasse on guitar, François Marsal on bass, and Arnaud Gagnoud on drums. Their first album came out in 2003, just called 'Stuck in the Sound,' and it had a rough, energetic feel that pulled from punk and garage rock.
They put out 'Nevermind the Living Dead' in 2007, which had the song 'Let's Go' on it. That track got some attention and became a kind of signature for them. They followed it with albums like 'Shoegazing Kids' and 'Survivor,' keeping up with jangly guitars and driving rhythms.
In 2011, drummer Arnaud Gagnoud left the band. They kept going after that, but the lineup change was a noticeable shift. Their songs like 'Toy Boy' and 'Brother' show the kind of distorted vocals and raw energy they were known for.
