SubOh formed in 2007 with André Paes Leme on guitar and vocals, Caio Loureiro on bass, and Pedro Pelotas on drums. They put out their self-titled debut album the following year. Their song "Você Está Aqui" became a notable track for them.
In 2012, Leme had throat surgery, which affected the band's work for a time. Their third album, "A Era dos Gigantes," came out in 2014 and showed them trying some electronic and experimental sounds. They released another album, "A Luz do Fim do Mundo," in 2017.
