Subrock formed in Rio de Janeiro in the early 2000s, started by childhood friends Rodrigo Suricato and Rogério Brito. Their first album was called 'Subúrbio' in 2005.
They've released several albums since then, including 'Além do Muro' in 2009, 'Subrock na Terra do Nunca' in 2013, and 'Vivendo e Aprendendo' in 2017. Their song 'Minha Sina' became particularly well-known.
The current lineup includes Suricato on vocals and guitar, Brito on vocals and bass, Felipe Martins on guitar, and Thiago 'Tico' Mello on drums.
